Nice Looking Quality Top |

After printing the instructions and reading through them, I decided to take the top and my car to a professional.
A couple of things that might be important to individuals buying this product:
1.When the upholstery shop removed the top from the box, they were concerned that it was the wrong top for my car. This shop has installed hundreds of tops, so that was concerning.
2.When I put the top of my car down, the bolt heads that fasten the rear of the top to the car poke the fabric in the corners. I'm not sure whether this is caused by the concern with #1 above, or if the installation in the rear might have been a little too snug. Without some padding it's clear that the bolt heads will poke through the fabric in a short period of time. I have had the top down twice since the installation was completed in June.
In the end I saved a couple of hundred dollars total, but given the choice again, I'd send the car to a factory Ford dealer and have them install a factory top.

This top is nice. Be ready for about a 14 hours to install it. I do have experience with all things cars, engines, brakes, tires, exhaust, performance. There is a bout 10-15 steps missing so you will have to use some of your own smarts to fill in the blanks. I did not have fun doing this top install but it did save me about $700 so I guess it was worth doing it myself. Finally I would never do this install again.

Your service was excellent the price was just right, I would say great value. I think the top is very good quality and the instructions though missing a few steps got us thru the install. We installed the top at our shop and it was the first one we had done. I think it came out almost perfect even though we had to do it 3 or 4 times to get it perfect. If I was to do another I would be much better at it the second time.

I thought it was a great product it took me a mechanic about 9 hours to do it by my self and if I had to do it again I would recomend paying someone to do it. the directions were great but in some portions of it they could have elabrated a little more.
