1996-2000 Sebring Top - OEM Sailcloth Topping Vinyl - Includes Glass Window - Black

The material is the same as the original Sebring JX top and since the topping material was manufactured in the same factory that made it for Chrysler, you can be sure the color, texture, look and feel will match.

WINDOW

The heated glass window has a slight tint and is DOT certified. The electrical connectors attach to your existing rear window wiring harness. The convertible top window bonding system provides an exceptionally clean look and extremely secure bond guaranteed to not fail for the lifetime of the original purchaser. We reserve the right to substitute a heated glass window if stock is low in non-heated windows.

FABRIC

Manufactured using first quality Sailcloth Single Texture material. The topping is a two-ply composite made of a PVC sailcloth grain outer layer and a polyester/cotton lining fabric.

5 of 5 Chrysler Sebring top replacement May 16, 2016

I have been working on my own cars for over 40 years, so I thought how tough could this be....  Ha ha well I got it done, and it looks acceptable.  No fault of the top manufacture, it came in great condition.  We thought we ordered it with no defrost glass but tinted, but it came in with the defrost anyway.  This is fine because the car has the wires for the defroster and we can always get it tinted later.  The only advice I can pass on to anyone looking to try this for their first time is to pay very close attention to where the holding frame is on the on original top before you remove it, mark it well so it goes back in the same place.  And take your time.  I found that using a soldering iron to make the holes was much better than trying to drill through it, a drill will catch the fibers and you could get a run in the material.   All in all  It went well and it was a good project.
