Glass Window Replacement Convertible Top

1997-2002 Porsche Boxster and Boxster S convertible tops are manufactured in the USA using the original patterns and specifications to the original vehicle. This item is manufactured from a Haartz TwillFast RPC acoustically enhanced fabric. The similar material, sometimes referred to as Sonnendeck in the convertible top aftermarket, is available but that is generally a standard TwillFast, not the acoustically enhanced RPC. TwillFast RPC has an acrylic twill weave outer fabric, a rubber inner layer and a polyester lining fabric. It is an excellent lower cost substitute to German A5.

WINDOW: Tinted glass window with embedded defroster wiring and wire harness kit. It is a great upgrade to older plastic window tops. It is smaller than the plastic window so it does not not interfere with opening or closing and fits perfectly in the top boot. The rear window is securely bonded to the canvas topping material such that there is no external stitching or piping around the outside edge of the window. The convertible top window bonding system provides an exceptionally clean look and extremely secure bond guaranteed to not fail for 5 years to the original owner.

FABRIC: Manufactured using premium US made TwillFast RPC canvas. This raw material is an economical alternative to the German A5 with similar look and feel. The canvas is an acoustically enhanced three-ply composite made of acrylic twill weave outer fabric, a rubber inner layer and polyster lining fabric.
