Choose from German Classic Sonnenland or Haartz Twillfast II Cloth. Twillfast II is the original material for these model years and German Classic Sonnenland cloth is the better alternative, but both are excellent choices.

The original Audi Cabrio convertible top fabric is Twillfast II cloth. We also offer a German Classic Sonnenland Cloth as an acoustically enhanced alternative.
This material is US manufactured and has many similar characteristics to the German Classic Sonnenland. Twillfast II is a three-ply composite with an acrylic twill weave outer fabric, an elastomer inner layer and a polyester/cotton lining fabric.
This is the original material, and is imported from the original topping manufacturer in Germany. German Classic Sonnenland is an rich , three-ply composite made of a polyester/acrylic twill weave outer fabric, a rubber inner layer and a cotton lining fabric.
