FACTORY ORIGINAL STYLE - GERMAN SONNENLAND CLOTH - 3 PLASTIC WINDOWS

This Mercedes 107 chassis convertible top is made as original with 3 sewn in windows using patterns and specifications to the original vehicle. This includes German Classic canvas from Haartz Germany, which is a premium quality topping with 100% polyester dobby weave lining fabric.

Made with a hand-rolled binding as the original Mercedes. The topping material has a Tan interior backing color as original and includes vinyl piping around the rear windows like the original.

WINDOW:
Includes 3 new plastic windows. The window is sewn into the convertible top with a double stitch for strength like original and includes finish trim piping around the exterior.

FABRIC:

  • The entire top is cut from the same bolt of cloth for consistent color & pattern

  • DOT approved heavy .050 gauge sewn-in, tinted plastic window
  • Factory style hand rolled bindings
  • Deck seams are heat sealed as original without tape
  • Windows are double stitched and include finish trim piping on the outside
  • Window areas are reinforced on the inside for added durability

I am restoring my 1985 380 SL and the soft top was old and aging. I decided to buy the best German canvas top and get your 5 year warranty. As soon as I opened the box, I could see the the quality of the top. I am excited to install the top this weekend and will be glad to send you pictures of the finished product.

Last month I received your replacement top for my SL. I systematically removed the old top in a few hours and replaced it with the new one at the end of the second day.  It's quality was equal to the original both inside and out.  As was advertised, the cloth were made in Germany and identical to the original. I would highly recommend your product for anyone considering a replacement top. Your price was the most competitive I could find on the internet!
