This Mercedes 107 chassis convertible top is made as original with 3 sewn in windows using patterns and specifications to the original vehicle.

This convertible top is made with a TwillFast II (Sonnendeck) Canvas, a Haartz US made fabric that is a copy of the original German Cloth.  It has a similar twill weave and dobby backing.

Made with a hand-rolled binding as the original Mercedes.  The topping material has a tan interior backing color as original and includes vinyl piping around the rear windows like the original.

WINDOW:   Includes 3 new plastic windows.  The window is sewn into the convertible top for strength and durability.

FABRIC:  Manufactured using premium TwillFast (Sonnendeck) canvas.  The canvas is an accoustically enhanced three-ply composite made of an acrylic twill weave outer fabric, and elastomeric inner layer and a polyester/cotton lining fabric.

every thing was fine but i told the sales man  that i never installed a top before he told me he would give me instructions w/ top to make it go smoother  NEVER got any instructions!!

I had your Twillfast II Canvas installed this past week. Everything looks good but it seems to be a very tight fit. Hopefully this is normal and it will stretch out and fit correctly. When I say correctly, it is hard to secure the back flush with the car usng the lock down mechinism. Let me know if this is normal.
