The original Porsche 944/968 convertible top fabric is German Classic Sonnenland cloth (or canvas). We also offer a Haartz Twillfast II Cloth as a lower cost alternative.

GERMAN CLASSIC SONNENLAND 
This is the original material, and is imported from the original topping manufacturer in Germany. German Classic Sonnenland is an acoustically enhanced, three-ply composite made of a polyester/acrylic twill weave outer fabric, a rubber inner layer and a cotton lining fabric.

TWILLFAST II 
This material is US manufactured and has many similar characteristics to the German Classic Sonnenland topping. Twillfast II is a three-ply composite with an acrylic twill weave outer fabric, an elastomer inner layer and a polyester/cotton lining fabric.
