We offer both a plastic window and a heated glass window for the 1997-2002 Boxster.
Glass Window Boxster Tops
1997-2002 Boxster Glass Window tops, like the new models, have a smaller rear window to allow it to fit into the top boot. Our glass window is slightly tinted to match your front and side windows and has the embedded defroster glass wiring and a new wiring harness to connect it to the existing electrical system.
Plastic Window Boxster TopsStay original with a Boxster top that includes a new sewn-in tinted plastic window. As you may know, the original rear window was zippered utilizing a patented Porsche system. All aftermarket tops that we know of, including this one, are non-zippered. Plastic windows are the more economical choice and closer to the original.

We offer both German A5 and TwillFast RPC topping material. German A5 is the original material. It is a premium, silkier material manufactured in Germany and has a great look and excellent durability. TwillFast RPC is an acoustically enhanced topping material manufactured in the USA with a very similar look to German A5, including dobby criss-cross backing on the inside. It's a great economical alternative to the original. Both are available in a variety of colors to match your vehicle.
German A5 Acoustic and Twillfast RPC are both upgrades to standard Sonnendeck. They have been acoustically enhanced to provide up to 3dB (a significant) sound reduction improvement over standard topping.
 Many Aftermarket suppliers use a standard Sonnendeck or TwillFast material, which is a good alternative, but not original and they are not as quiet. Click the speaker icon to listen to a simulation of the quieter choice in convertible topping material.
 THE GLASS WINDOW BONDING SYSTEM
One of the biggest and most noticeable differences between our Boxster glass window tops and the others you will find online is the window. The bonding system on our tops is a proprietary and patent pending process that produces a secure and beautifully finished appearance with no unsightly piping and stitching around the outer face of the window.
