The topping material is a three-ply composite made of acrylic twill weave outer fabric, a rubber inner layer, and a polyester lining fabric. It comes fully assembled and ready for immediate installation and requires no cutting or sewing. This product fits all 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004 Chevy Corvette C5 convertible models. After doing days of research, I bought this top because not only is it made from the same material as the OEM but the warranty was better than any other I’ve found. My original top had to be replaced because of the rear window coming unattached so seeing that they offered a lifetime warranty on the bond of the glass and the reviews were awesome, I jumped to buy. Just had it installed yesterday and the installers were very impressed with the quality. Free shipping and no tax. Only took a few days to get to me and the price was decent for everything I received. Overall, I’m very pleased with my purchase and would order from this site again (but hopefully won’t need to). Highly recommend.
I ordered the top and headliner, but did not receive a “shipping notice e-mail” so finally called to find out why – I was then informed that the headliner was out of stock. Both items were finally shipped approximately 5 days after I placed the order. Materials received in good condition. I would have appreciated notice of the headliner backorder as that would have allowed me to inform my installer of the delay. As it was, I was in the dark for several days awaiting a “shipping notice” email that wasn’t going to occur.
The top was exactly as advertised and it looks great. However, I chose one of the installers listed on your website and would not recommend them to even cover my dog’s bed. They had stated that they had installed tops on a dozen or more Corvettes, but I am absolutely sure this was their first attempt. The back where the top meets the rear deck was pulling loose before I even made it home from their shop. Also, the top was not adjusted properly that one could see daylight between the top and the decklid. Thankfully, my husband is an exceptional handyman and was able to correct their sloppy workmanship.
