The new top I ordered arrived with missing straps. The instructions were incomplete and the photos didn't match the written description. I've replaced multiple Miata tops over 20 years of many different brands. This one is among the worst I've ever seen. The straps that were sent have instructions that don't work, the marks on the straps are closer than the holes that need to be drilled. The seams on the front corners of the top aren't a good fit. The rain rail is too thick, almost impossible to get the nuts on the studs due to the thickness of the material. Overall, I am very disappointed and would return the top if I could.

Top was received with a poorly sealed rear glass. I do take responsibility for not properly inspecting the top before installing. But to get no response from autotopsdirect after.multiple attempts. It's the last time they will get my money

Poor Quality Top and Customer Service	October 15, 2020

I went with ATD for a new convertible top because of their impressive claims made on their webpage. However, those expectations were not met with my experience.

Con's: 1) I was never notified when the item shipped and it just appeared one day at my door step while I was out of town. 2) The adhesive came apart at the glass window seem immediately after it was installed. I was told to contact the supplier because it's a manufacturing defect. 3) I filed a warranty claim through ATD's customer service line a week ago and I haven't heard anything back from anyone.

Pro's: the price of the convertible top. That's it.

I'll happily change this review if/when ATD helps their customer. But until then, this is my review.

This top looks amazing is seems to be of very high quality. Having the rain rail pre-installed is definitely the way to go! I only gave it 4 stars because the rain rail did not quite line up with the studs on the rear shelf as well as it should have. Furthermore, one of the foam seals that they glue into the rain rail had come unglued so I need to add another layer of foam and some more glue so water would not leak around the stud. Probably a rare occurrence, but it was certainly an annoyance that I did not expect to deal with.
