Overall, the material and workmanship is quite good. Not as good as that other popular top manufacturer, but pretty good. Several things keep it from being great. First, no installation instructions. Fortunately, I've installed several tops on Miatas to not really require instructions, but would have been nice to have. The second, bigger issue, is the way the top is packed. The competition ships with the rain rail flat. Auto Tops Direct folds theirs for shipping. This causes much more difficulty in installing. In fact, it made it so difficult, I had to remove the seats and top frame to complete installation. Something I never had to do with the competition's tops. Anticipate a much longer time to install, and help yourself out, and unfold the top to let the rain rail relax a few days before. (a heat gun may prove helpful to get it into proper shape) I also found the rain rail to be a bit oversized, making installation quite challenging, but not impossible, to get fitted up right.
