This 2003-2008 BMW Z4 and M Roadster convertible top is manufactured in the USA from original patterns and specifications to the original vehicle. The material is Haartz Twillfast RPC and it includes a new heated glass window. Also includes new weather seal.
WINDOW
The heated glass window has a factory tint and is DOT approved. The electrical connectors attach to your existing rear window defroster wiring harness. The convertible top
window bonding system provides an exceptionally clean look and extremely secure bond.
FABRIC
Manufactured using premium Haartz Twillfast RPC canvas, a superior quality topping with dobby backing. The topping material is an acoustically enhanced three-ply composite made of acrylic twill weave outer fabric, a rubber inner layer, and a polyester lining fabric. It provides up to 2dB (a noticeable) reduction to noise levels.
Placed the order for top and actually received it in three or four days. It seemed well packaged which was a concern because of the new glass rear window. The quality of the top looks good.Time will tell the long term value. Taking AUTOTOPS DIRECT’s advice I had it installed by a local professional. This cost over $1000.00.The shop stated the quality of the top is good. My only concern with Autotops Direct is their telephone representative did not seem very well informed about the specifics for my particular car.
