This 1996-2006 Chrysler Sebring convertible top is made from original factory style Sailcloth Vinyl. Sailcloth was an original material on the JX models. It is a premium quality topping with cloth inner lining.
WINDOW
The window is press polish clear plastic and sewn and heat sealed to the top. It is DOT certified and the highest quality, heavy gauge plastic on the market.
FABRIC
Manufactured using premium sailcloth grain vinyl like the original, but is a two ply composite made of a PVC sailcloth grain outer layer and a 100% polyester inner lining for superior flexibility and longer life than standard cotton backed materials. The material is the same as the original Sebring JX top and since the topping material was manufactured in the same factory that made it for Chrysler, you can be sure the color, texture, look and feel will match.
Well we got the top installed. Tight fit and a bit to install, but looks great,
Tested it through significant rain . Dry as a bone!
Easy to order and delivery pretty quick
Product is well made and appropriately packaged. Timely delivery.
Installation is time consuming but not difficult. The link to photographic instructions were helpful, but certainly not comprehensive, leaving a lot for the installer to work out. Instructions could certainly be better, but I would have been hesitant without them! End result looks great.
This was the best investment. When my top went I thought I would have to pay thousands to get a new one! But this was affordable, excellent quality and suprisingly very easy to put on!! Well worth it!!
