Your Ford Mustang Replacement Convertible Top is manufactured using premium Bordeaux Trilogy Acoustic Vinyl. Sailcloth vinyl was an original topping material for some Mustang models. We developed this superior Trilogy Acoustic Vinyl material to be heavier, quieter, more durable, and more flexible than other vinyls. It is an acoustically enhanced vinyl with a twill (cloth-like) pattern and 100% polyester backing for superior strength and longevity. It comes fully assembled and ready for immediate installation and requires no cutting or sewing. This product fits all 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004 Ford Mustang models. In model years 2000-2004, Ford added a rubber weather seal sewn into the top that provides additional protection to the interior from the weather and some reduction to exterior road noise. This weather seal is sewn into all of our 1994-2004 Mustang tops.

This replacement top includes a new DOT-rated heated glass window installed in your new replacement convertible top. We bonded the window using an advanced window bonding system that eliminates the need for unsightly stitching, piping, or heat seal press marks commonly found on most other aftermarket Mustang tops. The interior of the window has a vinyl lining with a die-cut rear bow retainer. The heater and defroster glass windows from SIERRA Auto Tops match the dimensions and contours of the original equipment. The window is made using tempered safety glass and marked AS-2 to show it meets all requirements of the National Traffic and Vehicle Safety Act and the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard, No. 205 (Glazing Materials CF MVSS 205).
