ABOUT THE WINDOW
New DOT rated glass window is bonded into the rear window section. From the exterior, the edge around the window has a clean, finished appearance with no piping needed to hide stitching, gluing or imperfections that may arise from other bonding methods. The fabric has been carefully notched by a computer controlled cutter around the radius to ensure proper adhesion around the entire perimeter to eliminate potential leaking.
ABOUT THE FABRIC
We developed this superior vinyl material to be heavier, quieter, more durable and more flexible than other vinyls. It is an acoustically enhanced vinyl with a twill (cloth-like) pattern and 100% polyester backing for superior strength and longevity.
In model years 2000-2004 Ford added a rubber weather seal sewn into the top that provides additional protection to the interior from the weather and some reduction to exterior road noise. This weather seal is sewn into all of our Mustang tops.
The quality is similar or better than OEM. Dimensions were very accurate. I wish they had included some instructions or guidance on how to align he top because it makes you supper unconfident during installation. I suggest you video or take as many pictures during removal.
I purchased one of these tops for my 03 Mustang GT believing that I could just take it to a local upholstery shop and have it installed, they refused to do it because I didnt buy it through them`at a $250.00 mark up price and between $800 to a $1000 installation charge. Well I dont know how they justify that price but I couldnt pay that amount so now I’m trying to get installation instructions like Amazon said I could get because the YouTube video, while it gives you an idea doesnt really tell you how to do it step by step instructions. The guy that I have doing the work already broke one of the tension cables so thats going to be another $60 bucks. So I need to know how soon I can get the instructions and how long its going to take to get the instructions and tension wires and how long its going to get them
Top was good material the direction sheet were an asset for putting on step by step keep the old one too for measurement and locations where things go too took about two days worst thing was going in the back seat to do the bolts overall I would do it again thanks autotops for the good product

Misleading advertisment material is too thin don’t see how it can be quieter than a thicker material
Looking good. Still need to find the sunvisors, as they don’t match with headliner condition anymore.
Seems to keep the water outside, which is huge step forward.
