ABOUT THE WINDOW
New DOT rated glass window is bonded into the rear window section. From the exterior, the edge around the window has a clean, finished appearance with no piping needed to hide stitching, gluing or imperfections that may arise from other bonding methods. The fabric has been carefully notched by a computer controlled cutter around the radius to ensure proper adhesion around the entire perimeter to eliminate potential leaking. The technology is unique and protected by worldwide patents and we guarantee the bond to the original purchaser for the life of the vehicle.
ABOUT THE FABRIC
Manufactured using premium 38 oz. Cabrio Vinyl for that original look and feel. This is the same weight and grain found on the original Miata convertible tops. It is a two-ply composite made of PVC Cabrio Grain and a 100% polyester lining fabric to resist mold and mildew.
Top looks good. Installed in November and put into storage . Hope everything is good in the spring
Ordered a vinyl top for my miata. It came quickly and and the quality is great..It was a great price…
Delivery was quick. Self installed, it was a lot of work for one person. You will need a leather hole punch and zip ties to attach your old rain rail, as this kit comes with “hammer on” style rivets for the rain rail. The other rivets are standard rivet gun style so you will need one of those too. For the price, and this is by far the lowest priced one I could find. I could not be happier. I do, however prefer canvas tops to this vinyl top.
fit was very good . no instructions , so you tube is a must . the push together tabs did not fit anything so some improvising is necessary . overall it was a doable job for 2 people . don’t be in a hurry .
Excellent customer service on initial call – very informative and professional advice on top options available for my car with expert opinion on removal and installation guidance (with local installation sources in my are – non LA). Top arrived in 4 days after ordering and installer had it on the next 2 days – please allow top to stretch a couple of days folks, before attempting to open and close!
Definitely would buy again from these guys and highly recommend for Mazda and anything else!
