This Mercedes 129 chassis convertible top is made as original with 3 sewn in windows using patterns and specifications to the original vehicle. Made in the U.S.A in a modern factory by experienced craftsmen. The topping material has a Black interior backing color as original and includes vinyl piping around the rear windows like the original.

About the Window

Includes 3 new plastic windows sewn into the convertible top for strength and durability. The windows are made from a 50 gauge (heavy) press polish vinyl for strength, longevity and clarity.

About the Material

Manufactured using first quality American Stayfast cloth/canvas with a plain inner lining. The canvas topping is a three-ply composite made of a square weave outer fabric, a rubber inner layer and a cotton lining fabric. The key differences are that the exterior is a square weave instead of a twill weave and the inside is a plain cotton lining instead of the dobby (criss-cross) lining.
