This Mercedes 129 chassis convertible top is made as original with 3 sewn in windows using patterns and specifications to the original vehicle. Made in the U.S.A in a modern factory by experienced craftsmen. The topping material has a Black interior backing color as original and includes vinyl piping around the rear windows like the original.

About the Window

Includes 3 new plastic windows sewn into the convertible top for strength and durability. The windows are made from a 50 gauge (heavy) press polish vinyl for strength, longevity and clarity.

About the Material

This convertible top is made with a TwillFast II (Sonnendeck) Canvas, a Haartz US made fabric that is a copy of the original German Cloth. It has a similar twill weave and dobby backing. The canvas is an acoustically enhanced three-ply composite made of an acrylic twill weave outer fabric, and elastomeric inner layer and a polyester/cotton lining fabric.
