2004-2009 Nissan 350Z convertible top is manufactured in the USA using the original patterns, specifications, materials, and designs from Nissan. This replacement convertible top is made from the high-end Haartz Stayfast cloth and is loaded with OEM features like the rain guard, sewn-in attachments and heat-sealed deck seams.
About the Heated Glass Window
Includes a new DOT certified heated window. The window is securely bonded into the top with no unsightly piping and stitching as seen in other aftermarket tops that are heat-sealed or silicone bonded into place. The window bond has a Lifetime Guarantee.
About Haartz Stayfast Cloth Fabric
Manufactured using premium Haartz Stayfast canvas, which is mold and mildew resistance and has superior resistance to long term exposure to the sun. It’s a three-ply composite made of acrylic square weave outer fabric, a rubber inner layer, and a cotton lining fabric.
Got my top and it had four small holes, they didn’t go through the second layer of the top but the canvas doesn’t look good. Had to put the new top on since I didn’t get an email about a replacement and four small holes is better than a top that’s a victim of an attempted carjacking.
2 hours to correctly remove the old roof. 3 hours with two helpers to install the new roof. Another day it took an additional 2.5hrs for two of us to finish putting all the rubber back on and carefully adjust everything to open, close and seal properly.
The finished product is really classy and well worth the tiny bit more for the better roof materials.
Any willing young person with very basic hand tools and a battery drill for rivets can start by doing one car a week while attending college. I just see dollar signs.
People are terrified of old roofs but baby boomers LOVE! convertibles. Do the math. Use Autotopsdirect as your supplier… you just can’t loose. Buy a mint car, change the roof, add $3500 to the price and you steadily pay for university or tradeschool.
These are my thoughts. Turn it all into CASH!! When you graduate keep the trim shop making $5-10k/ week employing two people and start working in your field.

The quality of the top is outstanding. I had it installed professionally and the Z looks as if it came out of the factory.
I know that instructions are not included which is odd considering the product. My suggestion is to include them.
The hood arrived in Australia as advised packed perfect & soft top 100% quality
