ABOUT THE MATERIAL: Sailcloth Vinyl is the original material for the 2007-2013 Wrangler JK. It is a heavy weight 2 ply composite that has a “sail grain” pattern in the exterior facing. Sailcloth has superior performance characteristics than either earlier model Denim or Diamond vinyls and will last considerably longer. As well, sailcloth has enhanced acoustic properties that lower the noise levels at highway speeds.
This replacement top is awesome & fits so much better than my original. Road noise is greatly reduced & this top keeps the heat in when needed… Bottom line, is that I can’t say enough good things about this top. My friends are thoroughly impressed with this top..
I bought a very used TJ that sat for two years with no top. I’m missing a couple frame pieces but this top seems to fit really well. Fantastic price and looks like good quality. Would definitely order from here again!
Second time I have had to replace the top on this jeep. one vandalism. one storm damage. Got both tops through autotops direct. Nothing but happy with service and quality.
Top was shipped quickly! Instalation was fairly simple and fairly quick! Fit is good! Only complaint would be zippers are a bit tough to pull but I’m guessing they will get easier with use!
The weather was finally cooperating enough to get my new top on. The fit was excellent, and I really liked the heavy duty zippers- much thicker than the more expensive replacement top i got a few years ago, and the skinny zippers failed in less than a year. I replaced the door uppers with a brand that has thicker zippers, so they were still good to go for my new top. My soft top is on all year, all seasons, so quality of materials is important. Looks great, and got it on in about half an hour in the sun!
