The optional windshield channel may be required unless you have a factory original style soft top on your Jeep already. The windshield (or header) channel clamps to the top of the windshield. You insert the front edge plastic retainer on this Sun Top into the channel to keep the leading edge secure during highway speeds.

Sailcloth vinyl is an upgraded material for the TJ Wrangler. It is a medium weight 2 ply composite that has a distinctive diamond pattern look. The material has been tested extensively and is guaranteed to withstand the elements and provide years of service.
