The vehicle is a 1990 sidekick. My shop recently attempted the installation of the top supplied by Autotops.. I was please to find everything was supplied for installation. The material and construction was good. Attempted Installation took a reasonable amount of time. With that said the attempted installation was done by experts in my restoration shop. I am disappointed in 2 areas. The attachment points at left and right rear of top is a inch or so short for proper attachment. Therefore not able to complete the installation at this point. One other complaint concerns base of rear window attachment.. Instead of a steal rod as OEM uses securing the attachment of the window to cargo door , company chose to what I call a “wimpy nylon tube.” Not adequate for a secure attachment. My shop will convert that tube to the steel original design tube. Customer is still waiting to the return of his vehicle.
I am very happy with the top I received. It was a very good price, exactly what I ordered and they kept me informed throughout the process of purchase and delivery.
