Due to some problems with tearing, Toyota redesigned the side hold down cables in the last two years of production. This MR2 convertible top includes new installed sewn-in steel cables that meet these newer Toyota specifications
Ordered a replacement for my MR2 and received the top within a week of ordering. The top fit great and looks even better. The speed rivets didn’t arrive with the top, but customer service quickly sent them out after I contacted them.
The top came in quickly (a lot faster than expected)!!! I pulled it out and looks to be very good quality. I cannot wait to install it on my MR2 Spyder!!!
They sent the wrong one and don’t even know if they sent out a new one. Takes about a full day for them to respond.
the top is fine, operates exactly as it should but 4 stars for lack of instructions. they sent me a three page, under saturated, black and white instruction set that was missing major install points rendering the whole thing useless
Top came extraordinarily fast. It fit perfect. The project of putting it in was horrible. But that is on me not autotopsdirect. Thanks for a quick fix and a great product.
