HAARTZ TWILLFAST II MATERIAL WITH HEATED GLASS WINDOW
Fits the 1999-2006 Volvo C70 convertible. This new convertible top is made in the USA with a material that is a lower cost alternative to the original. All C70 replacement tops include sewn-in plastic retainers and a new heated glass window.
WINDOW
Includes a new tinted glass window with embedded defroster wiring. The glass windows are bonded using an advanced robotic controlled window bonding system that eliminates the stitch lines and piping commonly found on heated sealed tops or silicone bonded windows.The convertible top window bonding system provides an exceptionally clean look and extremely secure bond guaranteed to not fail for five years to the original owner.
FABRIC
Manufactured using premium Haartz TWILLFAST II cloth. This is a USA manufactured alternative material that has many similar characteristics to the original German A5 topping. It’s also a three-ply composite and is manufactured with an acrylic twill weave outer fabric, an elastomeric inner layer and a polyester/cotton lining fabric.
Great fit, no modification needed! Installed it myself in one day’s time. This is the second top I’ve purchased from ATD and both look great!
Received very quick service and turnaround from Autotops. Have now ordered same product twice from them due to an unfortunate break-in to my C70 . Only replaced headliner on the second order but it has made the world of difference in the quality of the replacement. Have recommended already to another island resident.
The shipping was fast and my installer said the material was very well made.
So far excellent. The color was slightly different, but they informed me and sent me a sample prior to shipment. The total cost,including installation, approximately $1000, is 2500 cheaper than what I was quoted at the Volvo place and the top looks great and is made of the same material as the original. Comunication and follow-up has been exceptional. Only time will tell as to durability, but with a five year warranty everything should workout.
After the Volvo Dealer quoted me $3,500 to replace my C70 Convertible top,i I was more than pleased to purchase the top from Auto Tops Direct for $600 and had it professionally installed for $525. Not a small sum, but much better than the dealer.
