2000-2001 HONDA S2000 CONVERTIBLE TOP
2 Piece Factory Original Style - STAYFAST - Heated Glass Window

This is a factory original two-piece design with deck seams and overlapping quarter panels just like the original 2000 through 2001 Honda S2000.  Our Haartz STAYFAST convertible top is a very durable cloth upgrade to the standard vinyl the 2000-2001 Honda S2000.

GLASS WINDOW
This Honda top includes a new glass window with embedded defroster wiring.  The wire harness is not included.  The window is a DOT certified tempered glass.  Glass window convertible tops can be installed on a Honda S2000 that originally came with a plastic window.  There are two additional tension straps included in box that must be riveted to the rear bow. 

We've also add a partial headliner that sits between the middle and rear bows.  A detailed diagram and instructions on how to add these straps will be included in the box.

FABRIC
Manufactured using premium Haartz STAYFAST canvas, which was the factory original topping material for the S2000.   • The entire top is cut from the same bolt of cloth for consistent color & pattern

  • Factory-style rain guard sewn-in along length of convertible top to direct water flow
  • Factory-style sewn-in attachment retainers are pre-drilled for easy, accurate mounting
  • Deck seams are heat-sealed as original for added strength along this critical seam
  • Windows are double stitched and include finish trim piping on the outside

great soft top, confusing instructions February 3, 2012

Thanks for the great soft top! I was able to put it on and it looks great now on my 01 s2k. However, the only gripe I have is that the instructions be made a little clearer. A friend of mine who has a more modern s2k says these instructions were made for a more modern s2k, as some of the steps made no sense on my current model. And the pictures on the steps were a little vague at times. I found myself staring at the pictures and thinking to myself "What in the world is this pictures referring to??".

But when all is said and done, the top was successfully replaced and it looks beautiful. Thanks!

Good looking top, installation instructions were easy to follow.  Top Fit is extremely tight.  Took over a week before I could close the top.  Very concerned that top won't last long because of extremely tight fit.  I have sent pictures about the issues and hope they are resolved quickly.
