Sailcloth Vinyl is the original material for the 2007-2013 Wrangler JK. It is a heavy weight 2 ply composite that has a “sail grain” pattern in the exterior facing. Sailcloth has superior performance characteristics than either earlier model Denim or Diamond vinyls and will last considerably longer. As well, sailcloth has enhanced acoustic properties that lower the noise levels at highway speeds.
I left the top out in the sun for an hour and it went on easily. Looks great on my 22 year old Wrangler. Best price online. Highly recommended!

The Top left the warehouse the same day I ordered. I used standard shipping and it came in five business days. The Top came in a sturdy box, and had plenty of tissue paper to protect the windows. The directions are a bit dated, but easy enough to understand (Especially if you have toyed with a bowless/frameless top before).
I was honestly surprised at how well it fit my 2002 TJ. Everything seems well constructed. Strangely it hasn’t rained since I put the Top on (about 10 days in Eastern North Carolina), so the only thing I can’t comment on is the water tightness of the stitching.
The one complaint right now is with the cross-bars that came with it to give the Top more rigidity. They are not matching lengths. Only the shorter one fit on my roll bars. The longer one extended so far from the roll bars it was digging into the Top. You could see the sharp angles and the stretching it was causing. I installed the short one on front and just left the back one out.
The top was shipped promptly and arrived in perfect condition. Installation was a breeze, as it was a replacement for a too just like it made by Rampage. The only problem I ran into is that the instructions were very wrong about the windshield header. They went into detail about how to fasten snaps to the header prior to bolting it on. There are no snaps. The top simply slips into the header channel with only tension holding it in place. I’m glad that’s the case, otherwise I would have had to send it back. All in all it’s a good quality top, very quiet ride- a lot less flapping in the wind than my old one. Installation is fairly easy but requires a lot of stretching to get it all the way on- especially the rear window. A good product at a good price. Thanks
