This Mercedes 129 chassis convertible top is made as original with 3 sewn in windows using patterns and specifications to the original vehicle. Made in the U.S.A in a modern factory by experienced craftsmen. The topping material has a Black interior backing color as original and includes vinyl piping around the rear windows like the original.

About the Window

Includes 3 new plastic windows sewn into the convertible top for strength and durability. The windows are made from a 50 gauge (heavy) press polish vinyl for strength, longevity and clarity.

About the Material

Manufactured using premium Haartz German (Sonnenland) Classic canvas. The canvas is a three-ply composite made of an acrylic weave outer fabric, a rubber inner layer and a polyester lining fabric.
German Classic is the original material used by Mercedes. It is an acoustically enhanced three-ply composite made of a polyester/acrylic twill weave outer fabric, a rubber inner layer and a cotton lining fabric. This is the most durable of the two fabric choices and has a slightly silkier feel, richer color and appearance.
