Just word of warning, this is an all day project for someone who has never installed a convertible top. It has 39 pages in the installation guide and you must follow them closely.

Great fit and amazing noise suppression	November 26, 2019

First, the top looks and fits great. Installer was very impressed, saying it was practically GAAH for half the price.
Second, the acoustic properties. I used to have a hard time hearing Led Zeppelin at 70 mph. Now I was able to listen to Miles Davis at 85. To be specific there is effectively zero wind noise. I still hear the tires and engine but no wind.
Highly satisfied and highly recommend.

Excellent quality top, very detailed instructions.
There are some DIY instructions that use double sided tape, save your money, skip the tape and use the 3M spray glue.

I really like the quality of the top, and I had a very positive experience with the support staff over the phone. However, I can't give 5 stars because I had to modify the attachment cables so that they'll fit the factory mounting screws.

Love the glass window and new top!!!!!!	July 12, 2019

Just replaced the top yesterday with the help of a friend that use to do tops/upholstery. It took 4 hours and fits like a glove. I highly recommend printing/reading the GREAT instructions provided by AUTOTOPS. I also watched a video from Roaring Tigers Garage https://youtu.be/7lnVZYCdfDk that was really helpful. I love that the top fits tight and perfect with little to no adjustments (my friend was really impressed with the fit). Thanks for a great product.

I am pleased with the Acoustic A5 top for my 2002 Boxster. Good fabric, good stitching, good fit. Opted for the acoustic material and it made a significant improvement in sound level over the original top.

Excellent Craftsmanship	March 5, 2019

This top fits perfect and looks outstanding. I'm a DYIer and it took me most of the day to do this with some great online videos. The instruction that came with the top was not the best but reviewing a couple of online videos helped me complete the project. If you're a DYIer, the two top corners were the only tricky part for me.

After doing a lot of research on the different products available to re-roof my Porsche 986 Boxster, I decided to go with Autotopsdirect.com. There are a lot of different top companies producing seemingly similar products, but most are much more expensive and not as highly reviewed. While doing some of this research, I came across a pair of really good YouTube videos by Roaring Tiger Garage , about installing this exact product. The combination of the install instructions, that come with this top, and those videos, made this a fairly easy project. Most of what I read, said the job takes anywhere from 12-16 hours to complete. I finished it in 8.5. It's December, and I just did the install. So I put a heater in my garage to let the top "settle" for a week.
The top looks great, and I love the glass window! I only drove it a couple of miles after I did the install, but the car does seem quieter too.
