ORIGINAL HAARTZ GERMAN A5® MATERIAL WITH HEATED GLASS WINDOW


Fits the 1999-2006 Volvo C70 convertible.  This new convertible top is manufactured in the USA using the original patterns, specifications, materials, and designs from Volvo.  All C70 replacement tops include sewn-in plastic retainers and a new heated glass window.

WINDOW:  
Includes a new tinted glass window with embedded defroster wiring.  The glass windows are bonded using an advanced robotic controlled window bonding system that eliminates the stitch lines and piping commonly found on heated sealed tops or silicone bonded windows.The convertible top window bonding system provides an exceptionally clean look and extremely secure bond guaranteed to not fail for five years to the original owner.

FABRIC:
Manufactured using premium Haartz GERMAN A5 canvas, which was the factory original topping material for the Volvo C70. It has excellent UV protection making it very resistant to fading from exposure to the sun.

  • Precision cutting with automated computer guided equipment
  • The entire top is cut from the same bolt of cloth for consistent color & pattern
  • Stitched with matching colors using the finest bonded polyester threads
  • Sewn-in bolts in the rear quarter panels like original
  • DOT certified tempered glass window with embedded defroster wire
  • Factory-style sewn-in plastic retainers pre-drilled for easy, accurate mounting
  • Window is bonded using an Advanced Window Bonding System & 5 Yr Warranty
  • Deck seams are heat-sealed using specialized tape to eliminate heat-seal press marks on exterior

Purchased the German A5 after the rear glass broke with the original top.  THE DEALERSHIP tried to sell me basically the EXACT SAME TOP for $2,300.00! (before tax and installation)  We received it from Auto Tops Direct in 3 days and my local installer had no problems putting it on.  Fit with my factory undercarriage...no problem...  Makes the car look BRAND NEW again (along with the new set of tires I bought).  Wifey likes this top even more because it gives about 1 inch more rear window viewing space than the other.  None of my friends can tell the difference.  VERY SATISFIED with the purchase so far.  Prevented us from getting a rental car for our trip down to NEW ORLEANS.  Top has held up well in the rains also.  The materials seem very solid.  I don't think it will fade or deteriorate within the 5 year warranty period.  If it does...then I'll repost.

I HAVE TO SAY, THAT YOUR PRICE WAS EXCELLENT. MY BOYFRIEND SAID THAT HE WOULD TRY TO PUT THE TOP ON AND HE DID WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS.  IT WAS REAL SIMPLE AND NOT DIFFICULT.  I SAVED ALOT OF MONEY AND ALL I CAN SAY IS THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES.
