Convertible Tops for the E-Type XKE
The Jaguar E-Type XKE convertible top is available in both the original British Everflex Vinyl and the American Stayfast Canvas from Haartz.
British Everflex is a supple vinyl with a rich appearance and although similar to modern vinyls, Everflex is more durable. Stayfast is a three ply composite canvas material made of an acrylic square weave outer fabric, a rubber inner layer, and a cotton lining.
These Jaguar convertible tops include a new sewn-in, non-zippered plastic window. The
deck seams on the convertible tops are heat-sealed for added durability. The tops are stitched
with matching colors using the finest polyester threads. For Stayfast tops specify black or tan backing.

The Jaguar XKE Convertible
Originally debuted in 1961, the Jaguar E-Type XKE was an extremely successful series, with more than 70,000 E-Types sold over the life of this very special Jaguar series.
The first series of this classic spanned the years 1961-1967. Then, in 1968, Jaguar released its second series of the E-Type XKE and it continued in production through 1971.
