HEATED GLASS WINDOW — TWILLFAST RPZ^® ACOUSTIC CLOTH — FACTORY RETAINERS AND WEATHER STRIP

This 2003—2008 BMW Z4 convertible top is manufactured from the factory original Haartz Twillfast RPZ^® acoustically enhanced topping material. Many Aftermarket suppliers use a standard Twillfast, which is a good alternative, but it is not as quiet as the acoustically enhanced original material we have.
BMW Z4 Convertible Top Glass Window

WINDOW
The heated glass window has a factory tint and is DOT approved. The electrical connectors attach to your existing rear window defroster wiring harness. The convertible top window bonding system provides an exceptionally clean look and extremely secure bond guaranteed to not fail for five years to the original owner.

FABRIC
Manufactured using premium Haartz Twillfast RPZ^® canvas, a superior quality topping with dobby backing. The topping material is an acoustically enhanced three-ply composite made of acrylic twill weave outer fabric, a rubber inner layer, and a polyester lining fabric. It provides up to 2dB (a noticeable) reduction to noise levels.

First Quality Twillfast RPZ Cloth / Canvas with a dobby weave lining
Provide up to 2dB (noticeable) noise reduction from standard Sonnendeck
Precision cut with Gerber automated computer guided cutting equipment
The entire top is cut from the same bolt of cloth for consistent color & pattern
Stitched with matching colors using the finest bonded polyester threads
DOT approved heated glass window. Bond with top is better than heat seal
Factory style headliner attachment installed around window with pre-punched holes
Deck seams are heat sealed from the inside as original using specialized equipment
Plastic, pre-punched retainer attachments are sewn-in for an easy installation
Replacement extruded rubber weather strip below rear window
