2000-2006 Audi TT convertible tops are manufactured from the factory original Haartz Twillfast RPC acoustically enhanced topping material. Many Aftermarket suppliers use a standard Twillfast, which is an okay alternative, but it is not as quiet as the acoustically enhanced original material we have.
Audi Convertible Top Glass Window
WINDOW
The heated glass window has a solar tint and is DOT approved. The electrical connectors attach to your existing rear window defroster wiring harness. The convertible top window bonding system provides an exceptionally clean look and extremely secure bond guaranteed to not fail for five years to the original owner.

FABRIC
Manufactured using premium Haartz Twillfast RPC canvas, a superior quality topping with dobby backing. The topping material is an acoustically enhanced three-ply composite made of acrylic twill weave outer fabric, a rubber inner layer, and a polyester lining fabric.  It provides up to 2dB (a noticeable) reduction in noise levels.

  • First quality Twillfast RPC Cloth/Canvas with a dobby weave lining
  • Provide up to 2dB (noticeable) noise reduction from standard Sonnendeck
  • Precision cut with Gerber automated computer guided cutting equipment
  • The entire top is cut from the same bolt of cloth for consistent color & pattern
  • Stitched with matching colors using the finest bonded polyester threads
  • DOT compliant heated glass window
  • Factory-style headliner attachment installed around window with pre-punched holes
  • Deck seams are heat-sealed from the inside as original using specialized equipment
  • Plastic, pre-punched retainer attachments are sewn-in for an easy installation

The top is great quality and a much better price than all the companies locally offered.  The company that I used to install it is now also going to use Autotopsdirect because they were amazed at the quality and how the rear window was bonded.  They said that it was the best fitting top they had ever put on.  Obviously, I am very pleased
