Thanks to the instructions this was able to be done by a garage mechanic instead of the 1000's that the local shop wanted and the 2000's that VW wanted.

I found this company on the internet, the price was great.  I received it in a timely manner...When I went back to the shop installing my new top, I was greatly satisfied with its appearance.  I've been advised to wait a week before letting it down so I haven't experienced that yet....But it's beautiful.....I recommend using this company for your next purchase..

Being a DIY person I installed the top by myself and it looks and fits great.  It took me approx. 9 hours to complete.  My only complaint is that the instillation instructions are very poor.  It would be much better if a DVD were available for the instillation.  But other than that I am very happy with the results.

The top fit perfectly.  The material is very good.  I expect it to last many years.  My wife and I did the install ourselves. The instructions had a few errors but I got through it with the help of customer service who sent me some additional photos from their shop. Very good support. I highly recommend.

So far so good!  The new top was installed on my 2004 VW Bug approximately 1 month ago (August 2014).  Have not put the top down yet as we have been enjoying, some much needed, RAINY weather. wooooooo whooooooo!

The top fit perfect, looks great also.  
Only gave it four stars, the installer required me to purchase an installation kit.   Wish Autotopdirect.com told me i needed an installation kit.
