If you buy this top (or any top), make sure you get the rain rail pre-installed... definitely worth it. Plan on spending most of a day installing this, but it's a quality top and it looks great without any wrinkles. A strap kit was included if the top frame didn't already have them (mine already does), and included instructions, but only for the strap kit. There were no instructions for the general disassembly and installation, but I found some generic instructions online and figured it out. Also, there needs to be some sort of sleeve to conceal the rear defrost wiring. Otherwise, I would give it 5 stars.

I have been a used car dealer buying and selling many Miata's over the years, I have always had the vinyl's installed as replacement until now. These make all the difference and well worth the extra few dollars! Thank you

The top is probably one of the best-looking tops in the market, great quality and craftsmanship. Very well packaged and insulated from any possible shipping damage, it arrived in a timely manner. Well done!!
Now, the "but". I am very skilled and very "mechanically inclined" and although I received, by my request, a PDF file of my car specific installation instructions with photos, I found these to be more than inadequate. I know that it does go a long way explaining but at the same time it was too vague, and the lack of detail to the many steps involved could leave those with fewer skills highly frustrated.
It really deserves a full five stars rating but I am rating it four(good) for the already stated reason!

Maybe somebody can figure out what the 5" long 1/2" wide strap is that is located at each side window.
